Western attempt at traditional JRPG style from an indie developer. They started project exile on GBA but they didn't get a publisher or something because GBA was already near the end of it's cycle. the project was on ice for a while but now back on the DS and properly released.

Looks and feels like Sword of Mana and Chrono Trigger. Has the active time battle system and other bits that resemble mana series and final fantasy.
