MY TIPS: For overall winners Germany, Spain and Italy have already been backed. Myself I have punted for Spain at 6/1 and as an outside bet Croatia at 12/1. Both well organised, young teams and tactically sound, with strength in depth. I've gone four a yankee on the four groups with Portugal, Croatia, Italy and Spain. I think I may also do the same bet again replacing Croatia with Germany, the others are safe bets tho. A 10 per line bet would return over 1000. The top scorer is a hard one to judge. Miroslav Klose scores goals consistently in international tournaments. Ronaldo and Torres have scored shed loads this season and then you've got Henry, van Nistelroo, Villa and Benzema to think about. But I have opted to put money on it being Fernando Torres of Spain or Karim Benzema of France at 10/1 and 25/1 respectively. |
