I can look at the starlight and see a velvet sky of sparkling diamonds.
All different sizes and degrees of brilliance,
Pretty shapes to play connect the dots of our own design,
An endless expanse of tiny white pearls,
Unfettered by string or wire,
Spread put as far as the eye can see,
Each one set in their proper place,
As seasons change and time passes on,
So does the piece of the velvet blanket we see,
Bringing us a new and wonderful view,
Of God's neverending handiwork of timeless beauty.
