As founder of this group I agree with far2wild, its about time people who have concerns over this issue took a stand and voiced there opinions. We would all like to see some kind of effort being made by others to right the ways of companies and shops who dispose of food that is perfectly fit to be eaten by the starving many.

Problem of food waste of companies is that no incentives are made to get excess food to the hungry. Tax breaks promotes waste rather than charity.
Another issue is the liabilty of donating food items. Need way get companies to donate nonselling food items before the expiration dates & still get same benefit that get when they just toss the goods to trash.

Another idea is getting excess food items to feed meat animals which could reduce the cost of meat. Biofuel is also raising cost of feed for animal raising. My ranch will no longer raise pigs due to high cost of feed.

The food crisis is a big problem here and all over the world thats all take a stand and help i want to help thank u far2wild and kaulid love tigerdol

seriously everyone, more than those who are interested in this debate are needed. far2wild chooses the company side and I agree to this along with kaukid who has a wealth of experience in this matter. ppl make your own choices where you would like to be, anyone had experience in the other category would be well suited, please give your answers soonest.

I see there's not a great deal of interest in this subject, even though it affects everyone, rich or poor, shame!!!
