what do you consider a crisis? was in a very big local shopping centre a few days back. no names mentioned due to the very probable chance of falling short of being hit with some form of law suit. yet the part that saddens me is the catch 22. month end and just before closing to see the likes of the deli and cooked food sections bagging food to be weighed and dumped as a loss. the company itself cannot be seen as a bad entity due to the fact that it donates thousands a year to the under privileged. but the waste sickening. an entire trolley full of cooked food taken to the dumps because giving it away could be cause to many things like ppl falsely begging or ppl falsely demanding compensation for food poisening. or the likes there of. them not being the only place as i have many recognised SABS approved names rolling off my tongue. what it the world can we do as a humanity in whole to prevent this sick form of sacrilege? surely there is a way to feed the needy this way. its a risk loss for the rich. feed poor
