A Search Light On The Eagle Part 1. Isa.40:28-31.

D Eagle is a special creature with some special features, characteristics & qualities. It has a unique life style that makes it stand out from all other birds &creatures of God.

Its one of d four special creatures with God' nature & unequal uniqueness & abilities: Man, Lion, Ox & Eagle. See Ezek.1:4-10. D eagle possesses divine abilities. It is a-god-bird! Ex.19:4. You have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings , and brought you unto myself. God declared.

QUALITIES AND NATURE OF THE EAGLE:

(1) Renewal ability: Psal.103:5 Who satisfieth my mouth with good things; so that my youth is renewed like the eagle's.

D Psalmist understood d eagle's ability to renew strength. When we take in God's rich resources His word we become satisfied & renewed.

In Micha1:16, D eagle balds (removes feathers & wings) itself by flying from one end of d rock to another, smashing itself violently on d rock until all old feathers & wings are completely pulled out of its body.

It then stays on d rock for sometimes until new feathers & wings are grown.
D eagle becomes young & renewed in strength & flight.

(2). Mounting power & inexhaustible strength: Isa40:31, Ex.19:4.

(3). Swiftness: D eagle is quick with speed. Deut.28:49, 2Sam.1:23, Jer.4:13. (4). Power of wisdom & great understanding: job39:26-27. Prov.30:19.

(4). Height of dwelling: high & not easily accessible. Job39:27-28. Jer.49:16. Obad.1:4.

(5). Height of flight: towards heaven. Prov.23:5.

(6). Power of vision: has ability to see far & clear. Job39:29. (8). Devouring power: job9:26, Hab.1:8. (9). Abundant supply. Job39:30.

We took our text from Isa40:28-31, remember? Vs. 31 says But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

We have focused on d eagle & see all of its dynamics. D bible says they that wait on d Lord will be as d eagle in nature.

When we fast & pray and when we make studying d word of God our habits, when we can stay long enough in His presence we can & shall stand out in excellent qualities as d eagle. D era of weak, feeble & defeated Christianity is over with us if we can learn to wait on God. Thank u for reading.
