back then when player transfers were done, a player transfered to another club, increased in skill according to his avg form on transfer, then had a chance again for a full change report at his new club. clubs exploited this by keeping players for one month, getting a full change on transfer and selling on. therefore keeping a player at a constant age whilst their skill keep on increasing

the crew put a stop to this and now a player gets a pro rated change report according to the portion of the season already played at the transfer
