The only place i've heard off is up on the Downs. But thats usually just for guys. Cruising rather then .

Tog Hill is the other obvious place. Outside Bristol. I don't know where it is exactly. Found it by accident. Take main road out from Kingswood, past Warmley. Towards Castle Coombe circuit. There is a picnic spot just off that road. Overlooks Bristol. Thats it.
