''ORIGEN: gives much information as to the mysteries of the 'Ophites' and there is no doubt that all the Gnostic sets had mysteries and an 'initiation' (reveal secretly to them by God). They all clamied to passes a secret doctrine, coming to them from Jesus Christ, different from that of the Gospel communications, which in their eyes were merely exteric'' (Morals and Dogma pg.542)

INTRODUCTION: ''When Eberhard Nestle, in 1898, presented the first edition of Novum Testamentum Graece, he had achieved a work of which the consequences were not only know to him at the time, but also to the 'Wurtenburg Bible Society' that made the edition possible. If the ''textus receptus at that time still had a number of defenders, the science of the 19th century had however, finally proved it to be the worst text of the New Testament.''

''There the editions of 't*tschendoff (The corrupt versions) Since 1841, the finalized edition of edito octava criticalmolor of (1869/72), Tregelles (1857/72) and Westcott/Hort (1881) controlled the field. Bu in practiced terms at the level of university, church and school, the edition of the 'Textus receptus' was still largely used internationally till 1904. Only with the release of the ''Nestle text'' (corrupt versions) did the rule of the Textus receptus come to an end here also.''

''Origen, born A.D. 134 answering celsus, who had objected that christians had a conceal doctrine said: ''Inasmuch as the essential and important doctrines and principles of christianity are openly taught, it is foolish to object that there are other things that are recondite; (that are not taught) for this is common christian disciple with that of those philosophers in whose teaching some things were ''exoteric'' (for the outside world) and some ''esoteric'' (for the insiders) and it is enough to say that it was so with some of the disciples of pythagoras.'' The curds, the chinese, the kabbalists, all held the same doctrine. So 'ORIGEN' held (this doctrine) and the Bishop Synesits, the letter of whom had, been initiated, and who thus prayed to God: ''O Father, gran that my soul, reunited the defilements of earth!'' So the 'GNOSTICS' held (this doctrine). Morals and Dogma, Pg 399.
