Prophet's says '' whoever swears, then let him swear by Allah or be silent.''(Bukhari and muslim). In another statement, he says: '' Do not swear, except by Allah, and do not swear unless you are telling the truth.''(Abu Dawud and An-Nasa'i). In another statement: ''whoever swears by other than Allah, then he has committed disbelief.''(Abu Dawud and Al-Hakim) another one says: ''Whoever swears by other than Allah, then he has committed Shirk.''(Ahmad). Finally, the prophet says: ''Whoever swears an oath and then says, 'If Allah wills,' then he has not broken his oath.''
