im Emo and me and my friends are subjected to violence and abuse quite i often thing is ppl differentiate us from themselves i think they hate Emo much more than these ppl hate goth we are called posers they said wee copied goths and Emo culture is just a part of gothic once is it true? what views do you goths have towards us Emos? |

Emo is an offshoot of goth. Its true that both sub cultures found their roots in punk, but thats as close as it gets. I personally don't have an issue with emo's, only the one's who go round calling themselves gothic emos. There is no such thing, its just proves that they have no idea about either culture. The music is poles apart and so are the asthetics. Don't get me started on metalheads who call themselves goth, just because they wear black.
