I want clarity on Mary mother of Jesus. How does Mary lead one to Jesus? What is with Mary that Jesus should teach about her? Are we supposed to be taught about Mary or about Jesus? What does the Bible tell us about Mary, does she have any part in God's salvation plan? Lets discuss and perharps find out whether catholics are Justified to revere Mary as they do |

As much as the Bible talks less of the Virgin Mary, the less is very crucial.First Mary does not seek her own glory but She wants us to follow her Son.In John 19:25-27 Jesus looks at the disciple he loved(we are all disciples) and tells the MotherHe is your sonhence Mary becomes our Spiritual Mother. In Revelations 12:17 when the dragon could not fight Mary,it goes to fight HER descendants who are those who obey God' s commandments and are faithful to the truth revealed by Jesus.

Mary by the Grace of God She was protected from sin.She was completely detached from this world therefore She was Holy & spotless of sin.Note before the Word became Flesh to redeem us there was the work of the Holy Spirit in Mary through conception. So just as God began the work of salvation by the Angelic salutation Hail Mary full of Grace...we should put Mary as the gateway to the Trinity and the vessel of God's Grace and action of Holy Spirit.

At the wedding in Cana,Mary and Jesus were there,Mary noticed they had no wine. The first Miracle of Jesus happened because of Mary. Therefore Mary is our Intercessor. We should trust Mary in the Holy hands she held Jesus she holds us,just as She walked with Jesus in mystries of joy, glory, light and sorrow she walks with us and carries us safely to Her Son.Rosary is a powerful prayer that even with the new technology no weapon can overcome the action of Holy Trinity through the Rosary.PRAY THE ROSARY.

If we assume that Mary is our spiritual mother, Joseph should be our spiritual father. The Bible does not exclude Joseph from the parentage of Jesus (Mt.1:16). However, as we get the full picture of God's mission through Jesus, we discover that Jesus is not in reality a son to Joseph nor is he son to Mary

Jesus was there before Mary even before Abraham and David, how then does Mary become an eternal mother of Jesus (Read Heb.7:3)? The woman in Rev.12 might be symbolic ie representing the christian church, as JESUS is like husband of church (Read Eph.5:23)

Yes...Mary was used as a vessel and for us its her example we can emulate. Her humility, faith and obedience. Jesus bids us to go to him whenever we are in need (Mt.11:25-30). The ROSARY should not replace our natural communion with our LORD. Our devotion should express our true desires. Thats what makes prayer meaningful

In Acts 1:13-14,2:1-4 Mary was present at the very start of the Church,She was at prayer with the Apostles in the Upper Room & many Disciples, waiting for the Gift of The Holy Spirit in order to lead the early Christians to that openness thru Her experience to the action of The Spirit She has had during & after the incarnation.Mary as The Vessel of The Holy Spirit and She is FULL OF GOD'S GRACE(Its by grace that we are saved) through Her intercession we receive the very source of life of Her Son Jesus.
