I need any version of mx.it version 3 earlier than 3.0.4. Theres sum code in da newer versions that allow it 2 work wid vlive. By comparing it wid da previous versions i can pick out da lines of code that allow it 2 work wid vlive n use it 2 get other java apps lyk opera mini etc. workin wid vlive. My JAVA Apps work with VLive! All of Em! I think it might depend on your phone. Or maybe jus your settings.

No it doesnt have anything 2 do wid ur settings. Certain fones, lyk motorolas can run their apps wid vlive settings. Im tryin 2 mod da apps so that they can run on ALL phones. Just 2 correct my 1st post, i need a version earlier than 3.0.3.

i have version 2 somewhere and it works with vlive. i dont think its the version number but more that before voda was blocking the port that mxit runs on and now they are not anymore.

yeh i think ur right about the ports. ive been thru the coding of the latest mxit n compared it to an older version n theres no change as far as proxy settings r concerned. its still using 196.7.154.125:9119 n theres no sign of any changes in user agents or anything of that sort.

usi u r ryt it does work free on newer phones but not all phones work well so big up to the guys tryn to crack it.lol
