WTF is wrong with the cops? Seems as tho all they do is wait for Pete to make a wrong turn and BAM! he's arrested. The man ain't doin nuthin that Keef Richards doesn't do (ok maybe Keef says no to crack) but they leave Keef alone. . . Pete's problem is that he's too honest. The guy has undeniable talent & is one of the best songwriters of his generation. At the rate he's being harrassed, he'll either be dead or in jail for a looong time. He needs a new record tho. . . |

The law always goes after the famous. Since the 60's when nearly every rock star was taking some type of drug. John Lennon, Mick Jagger, Jim Morrisson ect have all been charged with possession and some have spent time in Jail.

Thnx for the warm welcome. Glad to see othess agree w/ me. U don't need to condone drugs to agree that what one does to one's own self is one's own business! BTW, I mentioned Pete needs a new record, & presto! THE BLINDING comes out. Excellent EP, IMO. Dirty Pretty Things are good, but its clear that Pete has the mojo.

I enjoyed the libertines alot, now he's in the babyshambles right? Are they comparable? Are they worth giving a listen? P.S. Kate Moss is my Idle, and now that her and doherty are rumored 2 be married people are giving her cr*p! I think shes learned her lesson and everyone needs to lighten up! I wish they'd heave them alone!

Everyone seems to be siding with Doherty, but the guy's out to destroy himself. Keef might have taken enough drugs to kill a stable of racehorses, but ol' Pete has a few other nasty habits. a) stealing from his friends and b) attacking photogs, sometimes getting his handed to him in the process.
