I'm not disabled but my youngest brother is, he has edwards syndrome. I joined this group coz i find it hard to talk to my friends about it as they don't really understand and i don't know many support groups for people like me. I love him so much and it breaks my heart to know i can't have a conversation with him as his speech is lost or that he won't be around with us as long as he should. But my family and i take good care of him and i like to think we do a good job with him. I don't think there is a better support unit for your loved ones than your family.
