now before i go on foer the benefits of those who are going to be using operamini 4.2 for the first time or those who have it already and do not know how to use it...please go to links and download the operamini 4.2 and the prov file that would enable it work on s4o phones or rather java phones, bou u don't need a prov file if u are using an s60 or symbian phone...here we go...You have installed Opera Mini on your Nokia handset and activate your GPRS settings, you cannot connect to browse on Opera Mini! Opera Mini should configured, access points and permission settings as it is a third party utility! This configuration should be done manually!

You will have to set permissions so that Opera Mini can get connected through the GPRS settings! Try this: Select Opera Mini, Click Options, Select App. access, Select Data access. Edit Read user data and Add and edit data which are used by Opera Mini! |

ok now for those using java phones u need to download the prov file with a pc or a china phone or a symbian phone then send it to your mobile phone then activate it as ur default web setting, u can do this (for nokia phones) by going to settings - configuration- defaultconfiguration settings..choose the prov file and then go down to prefered acces point and choose the acess point with ur default configuration setting and dats all. u are now ready to install ur operamini 4.2....for symbian phones like nokai 6600,6630,3230,nseries..eseries.. all u do is go to settings then connection..access points...option...new access point..then choose a connection name line (MTN NIGERIA) data bearer (GPRS), access point name (none) username (web) password (web), Authentication (normal) homepage( www.mtnonline.com) then click on options go to advanced setting...go to proxy sever address input 80.239.242.175, proxy port u input 80 that wud be all and u are ready to install operamini 4.2..., i hope dis wud be useful to u, if u hv any questions or run in2 any difficulties plz call my attention...
