 KULDEEP MANAK Kuldeep manak is a great punjabi singer.He is also known asKALIYAN DA BADSHAH.His first name was LATIF MOHAMMED.Kuldeep manak was born in jalal,district bathinda,punjab,india on 15,november,1949.He sing his debut in 1968,when he was 17 years old.In his singing carrer(1968-present)he gave many path breaking hits.He is usually known for singing genre of traditional punjabi music called KALIYAN.He has two brothers siddiqui and rafiq and his father nikka khan was also a great singer.Manak was always close to sikhism so,he kept the sarupp of shri guru granth sahib at home.He has two children,son,yudhvir manak,who is up coming punjabi singer and daughter named shakti.He was married to sarabjeet.He firstly setup office at bathinda but didnot stay there for long. |

He went to ludhiana where famous punjabi writter hardev dilgir(also known as DEV THRIKEWALA)spotted him and his first alb*m was relesed by HMV.Kuldeep manak is light house of punjabi singing.Jazzy B,the great punjabi singer consider manak as his guru.Gurdas maan also paid his tribute to manak in his song PIND DIYAN GALIYAN.I am also a great fan of kuldeep manak and like him more than any other singer.He has an unblieveable voice.Not only indians or punjabi people liked his songs but also people from various other countries.Even,my friend dolly who is from america liked his songs.Even though she doesnot know much punjabi and understands only few words. |
