Daniel 2:44 reads ''in time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to other people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure for ever.'' (Niv) that describes a real government, not just a condition of the hearts of men, As many claim when showing luke 17:21 |

In Luke 17:21 Jesus says: '...For behold the Kingdom of God is within you.' But notice that as shown by verse 20 Jesus is speaking to the Pharisees, these are the same ppl he denounced as hypocrites so he could not mean that the kingdom was in THEIR hearts. But the kingdom as represented by Christ was IN THEIR MIDST. |

Other bible translations have: 'among you' (The Jerusalem Bible and New English Bible); 'in the midst of you' (Revised Standard Version). The Emphattic Diaglott reads: 'Gods royal majesty is among you'. Clearly Jesus did not intend to say Gods Kingdom is a condition in ppls hearts. |

when Jesus said the kingdom of God is amongst you to the Pharisees he was speaking of himself as the representative and rightful king of the kingdom.
