@donmurra,its still a project.Its in its early stages and only a few pple around the world were chosen to use it and give feedback abt the features.So now,even if a member invites you cant 'join' yet(unless the member is an established blogger,adsense publisher,advertiser or a google employee).They are this restrictful coz hackers arnd the world are tryin to crack thru its software b4 ikuwe upgraded and operationalised.For now it has a total of 947,996 membrs.U.S leads the regstrd membrs with 150,523 membrs,followed by India wth 18,021 pple.In Africa,South Afrca leads wth 497 membrs,Egypt 387 membrs,Tunisia 309 membrs,Kenya 57 membrs,Mauritius 27 mbrs,Zimbabwe 25 mbrs,Benin 25 mbrs,Namibia 22 membrs,Tanzania 21 membrs,Nigeria 18 mbrs,Zambia 17 mbrs,etc,etc..

True dat Otosh.The problem with Google(search engine and google maps aside)is tht they r bekaming more complicated.Why put up such a complex site as google+ with features like circles chat which wont be affrordable in 3rd world countries like ours,then even making joining restrictions.Even gmail is bekaming complicated nwadays.Ati ukisign up gmail u must put up ur phone.no which theyll use to sms u ur access code.What if u want mre than 1 email?nktutho.They r dreaming if they think that theyll give facebk a run 4 their money.FB will hit that billion membrs mark fastr than google + fikishas 10 M membrs,read that from me.
