aslm alkm. knowledge is of 2 types: compulsory knowledge n optional knowledge. Da prophet saw refered to da compulsory knowledge wen he said, ' seeking knoledge is compulsory 4 evry muslim '. Dis knowledge comprises knowledge of Allaah, knowledge of da Prophet of Allaah, saw, n knowledge of islaam. The optional knowledge includes technical or professional knowledge lyk teaching, law, medicine etc. If a few individuals undertake to acquire dis knowledge then da whole muslim community is exempt frm blame. If u knw n strive to understand dis then u have grasped the meaning of life..
