Given: PV=NKT.......(1) where P=pressure of the gas V=volume of gas K=Boltsmann's constant T=absolute temperature of the gas K.E=1/3mC2. OR. K.E=3/2KT. 1/2mC2=3/2KT make KT the subject. KT=1/2mC2 put KT intoi eqn....(1). PV=1/3NmC2 . P=1/3[NmC2/V] =Nm/V hence. P=1/3C2
