Idleness is a vocation. Idleness, though inexcusable, is man's true state. Few people have Enough character to be idle. It takes contentment to be idle. Everyone is or hopes to be an idler. It's not easy to convince a busy person that it is better to be idle. Idle people have the least leisure. An idle youth makes a needy old age. The devil tempts us all, but an idle person tempts the devil. It is imposible to enjoy idling thoroughly unless one has plenty of work to do. Tomorrow is the busiest day of the year.
