miniumum tank for oscar? petshops will say a 30gallon tank per oscar is fine. but many oscar owners recommend 75gallons for 1 oscar and 125gallons for 2 oscars and tankmates. i think 55gallon could have 1 oscar and 1 pleco. what u think? |

Yes,I think It wil be ok. Many people say that 4'x2'x2' is da most suitable size 4 adult oscars. Da fact is,If they hv big space they wil get bigger. And also oscar loves wide tankes. My 7'' oscar stil in the 3.5' long tank. And he's fine.

if the tank is narrow, like 12inches can the oscar turn around easily, i heard they are quite flexy. if they could'nt turn around they could swim backwards and then go forward again.
