Eph 6:10-8 In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides]. Put on God's whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to STAND UP AGAINST [ALL] THE STRATEGIES AND THE DECEITS OF THE DEVIL. For we are not WRESTLING with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but agains the despotisms, against POWERS, against [the master spirits who are] the WORLD RULERS OF THE PRESENT DARKNESS, against the SPIRIT FORCES OF WICKEDNESS IN THE HEAVENLY [SUPERNATURAL] sphere.

Therefore put on God's complete armor, that you may be ABLE TO RESIST and STAND YOUR GROUND on the evild day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in place]. [Isa 52:7] Lift up over all the [covering] SHIELD OF SAVING FAITH, upon which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked [one]. And take the HELMET OF SALVATION and THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT WIELDS, WHICH IS THE WORD OF GOD. PRAY at all times(on every occasion, in every season) in the SPIRIT, [tongues], with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. An important fact in this war is that we can overcome these dark spirits WITH THE HELP OF GOD.

1 John 4:4
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. NKJV

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world - our faith. NKJV

SIMPLE BUT VITAL PROTECTIVE STEPS:

1. CLOSE ALL POSSIBLE DOORS THAT THE DEVIL MIGHT SEEK TO ENTER YOUR LIFE OR LIFESTYLE.

Rom 13:14
But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts. NKJV

Col 3:5
Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. NKJV

2. REMOVE ALLwelcome mats FOR DEMONS.

Deut 7:26
Nor shall you bring an abomination into your house, lest you be doomed to destruction like it. You shall utterly detest it and utterly abhor it, for it is an accursed thing. NKJV

3. AVOID SITUATIONS THAT MIGHT LEAD TO SIN OR POSSIBLE ENCOUNTERS WITH DEMONS THAT WOULD LIKE TO SET UP STRONGHOLDS IN YOUR LIFE.

2 Tim 2:20-22
But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel of honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work. Flee also youthful lusts, but persue righteousners, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. NKJV

4. KNOW, UNDERSTAND AND USE THE WORD OF GOD, THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT.

But the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.

Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times, and the strength of salvation. The fear of the LORD is His treasure. NKJV

5. TRAIN YOUR CHILDREN AND FAMILY IN THE WORD OF GOD.

Prov 22:6
Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. NKJV

For i have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the Lord, to do righteousness and justice, that the Lord may bring to Abrahan what He has spoken to him. NKJV

6. BE SUBMITTED TO SOMEONE AS A DOUBLE CONSCIENCE OF ACCOUNTABILITY.

7. BE COMMITTED TO THE CHURCH AND BODY OF CHRIST LIFE.
