About half-way done with SoM. The map system sux. Also by luck the first place i landed in was the Gold City/Country. They had some good but expensive gear on sale there. I hadn't even grinded and i could still afford all of them. Now all enemies do 1 damage on me lol

Also it isn't always clear where one should be going and who to talk (and WHEN to talk to them) to advance the story / get to the next place.

The map isn't actually that large and after getting used to it... it isn't that bad after all.

Also best place to grind magic skillz is kippo village entrance.

For weapons it seems KIPPO - PANDORA - KIPPO is ok. Everybody gets weapon experience when destroying foes with weapons and just going in and out of Kippo Village for weapon exp gets old really fast.

Also in the jungle / holy land enemies kick the cr*p out of me. Not to mention the boss that pulverizes me lol

Where to grind for normal exp i'm not sure yet. Same for buying better equips.

Everybody does NOT gain weapon exp. Only hits or kills count. Also i missed a salesman earlier that sells some good stuff... Doubled my equip stats again.

The dragon dungeon (with Duran in SD3) is long as heck and it has some occasionally deadly encounters. Without save states it would be hard as balls man!
