anti-christ does not actually only mean against Christ as many have thought but from the original word translations also means against christ. This anti-christ then is against Chris. |

rev13 says he(the beast) carries a blasphemous name. mk 2:7 gives a part of definition of blasphemy....WHO CAN FORGIVE SINS BUT GOD ALONE...?What we get is that blasphemy is taking God's position to forgive.so the beast would take His position(call Himself anti-christ;another christ) and claim to have power to forgive sins.
