Ordered it today. Currently playing the previous one on switch. Mainly survival and chronicle modes. (i don't own it. it is a library loan)

Still haven't received it. They sent me Unicorn Overlord already even though that was ordered LATER than this game. And they have three copies in stock (2 at their main store) which should mean fast/immediate delivery.

Should have read my e-mail first... It seems their replies go there instead of the site. Anyway they have estimated the delivery as a -week- now.

The ability to juggle air combos together has been increased holy cr*p i mean the enemy does like four combos on your as* eating half of your health immediately.

Doing / Reading Chronicles mode in UNIB Exe:Late (cl-r) aka the 1st game's visual novel part.

lol a bunch of typos here and there ... EDIT: Lots of typos actually. They don't break the 'immersion' too much, but are still wtf/facepalm moments. Also you are forced to read stories of characters you're not interested in to unlock more stories. EDIT2: Actually even the less interesting stories do have some value. Also there really are a ton of typos and misspellings. Even on the back cover it says LONDREIKA ...

Still doing/reading chronicles mode in UNIB 1. There is a fair amount of lore/backstory in there.

STILL doing the chronicles mode of UNIB 1. The episodes are fairly lenghty too. I think i've seen about 3/4 of them.

After seeing the chronicles mode stuff all the things they say in arcade mode make more sense. Guess i need to replay it with everybody again to get more out of it. Eltnum and Akatsuki did not have anything in chronicles mode. Tsurugi and some other extra characters did pop up. (Tsurugi is playable in UNIB2)

The stuff in Exe:Late (cl-r)'s arcade mode make a lot more sense now, actually. I guess i'll have to clear all of them again and then move to Sys:Celes. Kuon also mentions ''Sistema Celes'' in the last chronicles chapter.

Liking 1 more now since i know/understand what the fk is going on... most of the time. Half-done with the arcade mode replay. I'm also learning commands and attacks on-the-go because the game has Street Fighter, Soul Calibur, Darkstalkers, Tekken, Guilty Gear etc. -like basics. So i just try a bunch of things out and stuff happens. No need to look at command lists much at all. There are certain logics behind the moves/commands too that makes the guessing game easier (and more fun, i guess).

Wagner plays like Sophitia. Seth has kind of a short range and winning with him is more common with time outs rather than knock outs lol ... Some have Ryu/Ken-like moves and Vatista has Guile-like moves. (Street Fighter) Many special attacks can be used as semi-super moves (like in Darkstalkers). Regular moves vary by direction+attack buttons (Soul Calibur-style). The ''real'' super moves are flashy, but take 200 EXS while not doing any more damage than 2 100 EXS moves separately. May even do a little bit less actually.

Okay, arcade mode replay of UNIB 1 done. Hyde as some characters' last boss gave me some trouble... Not too much, but a little bit. Akatsuki and Eltnum had no real story because they are guest characters.

Already liking Kaguya in UNIB 2. Did 17 wins in survival on the 1st try.

Now doing arcade mode with Tsurugi. Also selecting Kuon in the menu makes the required characters blink. So you can see who is needed to unlock him.

Unlocked Kuon. Will clear his story last.
