Don't deny yourself of your own experiences, no matter how tragic or painful they were. They belong to you. Whenyou cover-up your pain within yourself, you are suppressing your best chance to grow. Respect your pain and honor your pain. Those scars are your stripes and badges of honor. Those injuries are a part of your sacred story. Don't hide from your truth. It is in what you have hidden, that you will find what you have been so desperately seeking. In the heart of your deepest wounds and losses is the essence of your greatest hope. What you thought of as dreadful or shameful was always your greatest treasure, for it has cultivated your deepest understanding. Your pain has brought forth the pearl of your wisdom, compassion and strength. Be proud of who you are.

No matter how busy we are, lets find a few minutes for some thoughtful, deliberate, loving energy directed towards someone in our life who may be struggling a bit with the holidays. Maybe its a neighbor, a co-worker, a friend or even a stranger. Make things a little easier, sweeter and more peaceful for that person, and youll discover the real purpose behind all the celebrations.

I am the maker of my own destiny. Live each moment like it is your last. death and life are the two legs on which we walk. every moment we live a little we die a little.

It's important not to take on everyone else's stuff and that's exactly what we do when we allow people's unkind treatment to get us down. It really is true that it's usually more about them than you, so please don't take it personally
