Here is the assembled board. Featuring a PIC16F877 Microcontroller running at 16 MHz. A 24lc256 EEPROM and DS1307 real time clock at the lower middle. To the right is the serial port. On the left are connectors for an*louge inputs. The three b*ttons in the middle control different operations such as data logging mode,reading the time and date, and memory read and write. The system can be updated at any time with new software by simply plugging the PC and PICkit 2 hardware on to the board and re-programming the microcontroller.
